When I was in my late 20's my friend and I toyed around with the idea of starting a t-shirt business because we always had a lot of ideas for shirt designs and thought we could sell 1000's, haha. As life tends to do, it got a little hectic and we never started it. Through the years I never could get the t-shirt business out of my mind. I've always had an entrepreneurial spirit. In February 2016 I bit the bullet and started researching screen printing, bought the equipment, took a class, watched countless youtube videos, and boom here I am. Over the years, I have learned the craft of manually screen-printed textiles. Fashion and art have always been passions of mine and now AR-T's has given me the opportunity to fuse the two together. For those who are curious, AR-T's is a play on the words Arts and Arkansas Tees (t-shirts). AR-T's is based out of Little Rock, Arkansas which is why many (not all) designs include Arkansas and Little Rock tributes and influences.
In 2021, AR-T's purchased Electric Ghost Screen Printing to combine forces and expand our capabilities to become a fully operational large scale screen printing company and have our first brick and mortar retail shop. It was a long journey through 2020 to make this venture happen, but we did it! It has truly been a dream come true and we couldn't have done it without our wonderful supporters through the years.
We thoroughly enjoy connecting with our customers and selling to those who relate and connect with our designs and merchandise. The concept has always been for our designs to never be over-designed, but to be simple and classic with sharp and clear messages. We also pride ourselves in giving a voice and representation to minorities and promoting diversity through our designs and merchandise in a state ran by a majority that tends to do the opposite.
